-COVID-19 SUPPORT-

We hope that you along with all your dear and near ones are in the pink of good health. We would like to share with you what LASA has been doing since outbreak of the COVID-19.

We reached out to more than 25000 households in Nagpur explaining the safety precaution to be taken during COVID 19. We also reached out to thousands of house hold all over India with the same message. We expect to reach 100000 household by the end of this month without risking the safety of our teams or volunteers. During this period, we also reached out to hundreds of house hold in Nagpur through social media distributing Children’s comic books which helped the children to do something productive.

LASA started the “Serve the daily wage worker” project after the announcement of lockdown to provide cooked food to daily wage workers and their families. The project is reaching out to more than 500 people every day. The project will continue till the end of lockdown period.
LASA Charitable Foundation’s “Reaching the unreached” project is reaching out to far flung villages with dry ration like Rice, Atta, Gram flour, Dal, Cooking oil, Salt and masala powders to see that no one goes to sleep with empty stomach. The villagers are also provided with personal protection materials like face covers, sanitizer and soap for handwashing.

All this was made possible with your support. We remain grateful for all the support and encouragement our supporters have provided.
